Graff Truck
Graff Truck
Description
by Lindsey Florence
16 x 34 | Arylic on canvas
Graffiti Truck depicts a white utility van covered in graffiti and hand-drawn markings, set against a geometric field of deep blue and violet. The detailed rendering of the vehicle contrasts with the simplified, repeating forms of the background, bringing the truck sharply into focus.
The work draws attention to graffiti as both an intervention and a visual record—layers of marks left behind on an otherwise ordinary object. Rendered on canvas, the piece considers the relationship between street culture, public space, and the objects that become part of the urban landscape.
