Collection: Natella Libin

My artistic journey began in my early childhood, though it took some time before I realized that art was my true calling. My other passion—flowers, plants, trees, and everything in between—has always been a driving force in my life. Raised in a home surrounded by a beautiful garden, my love for nature grew deeply, and without even intending to, I became a gardener myself. Flowers have always been fascinating to me; they tell stories and are full of life. I can never pass by one without pausing to capture its beauty in a photo, fully immersed in their delicate grace.

These two passions—art and nature—seamlessly converged into my botanical artwork. During the COVID pandemic, while working as a criminology research assistant, I began drawing and painting more seriously as a side hobby. What started as a pastime soon became a new way of life. After selling numerous prints, bookmarks, and other handcrafted items featuring my artwork, as well as participating in markets, including the renowned Philadelphia Flower Show, my art continued to grow in both scope and recognition.

Now, as I exhibit my work in a gallery for the first time, I am excited to share my unique perspective on nature. My botanical illustrations and paintings feature a whimsical twist—slightly deviating from the traditional, textbook depictions of plants and flowers. Through my work, I hope to inspire a greater appreciation for the natural world.
